these are also very important:

Game Plan: Figuring out goals from the very beginning is always difficult for me because I'm generally like 'let's get them settled first and see how things go', and Vash especially is a very adaptive, go-with-the-flow kind of guy. He wants to stay out of trouble, he wants to be nice to people, and being dead might finally mean he feels comfortable enough making friends instead of remaining as aloof as possible. Kind of hard to feel validated making friends / forging bonds when you have a genocidal twin brother following you around like a deranged puppy.

Interested in: He's an absolutely clean slate and pretty receptive on top of being adaptive and such, and I would be really interested in seeing how he interacts with others on top of perhaps getting into the NSFW content because it isn't like he's had much of a chance to get that comfortable with anyone in his own canon. Or at all, really. Always cool with writing things out or fading to black, and if that never happens and he just makes friends he'd be absolutely fine with it.

CRAU: He's gonna come in fresh from his time in Penance.
AU Clarification: It was literal Hell, complete with torture AND sex and the ability to add more sins to your roster, which of course means more trauma on top of what he's already experienced in his own canon. There was also two Edward Elrics, from '03 and the manga respectively, and while he ultimately wrapped his head around that particular scenario it was even more difficult for him to believe that '03 Ed was as old as he was. A whole ass adult. It's weird, all right. But he got over it.

At one point he had Wendigo antlers. At one point he was a woman. There was a nuclear family situation in which he believed he was married to Riza and the two Eds were his sons — ask him how that went, I dare you — and he also kinda-sorta made friends with a snake pokemon that thought both he and '03 were stupid. Which is never going to be wrong. He might actually love that snake a little.

PEACEKEEPER PROFILE

Personality: ✕ On the surface, he presents himself as a pretty shallow, narcissistic jerk with a penchant for womanizing, which has earned him something of a reputation among his peers. Arrogant and cocky with a penchant for sarcasm and a bone-dry sense of humor, the kind of man one might expect to take advantage of a position of power once it's given to him, and appears to act out of his own personal interest as opposed to out of any real desire to be useful. Or do something good for the good of someone else.
✕ He's notoriously lazy, which is not as much of the facade he keeps up with anyone that doesn't know him personally as one might be led to believe; at any given time he can be seen ignoring the stack of paperwork piling up on the corner of his desk, leaving it to the last possible minute and then rushes through it while mumbling to himself in some pretty colorful language. ( As an aside, paperwork is the devil incarnate. )
✓ He has a tendency to think several steps ahead of everyone else around him, able to work through several strategies at once and thus able to convince those around him ( most often his subordinates ) to act in a certain way, led to believe that their actions had been their decision when really it was the power of suggestion. That ultimately gives him the pretty decent power of manipulation, when it comes down to it, but he does use it more for the greater good than he doesn't.
✓ He's a charmer, but also a bit of a shameless flirt, which does nothing but add to his reputation as a womanizer. ( Even if there are no examples in canon of him ever following through with a romantic relationship. There really isn't a whole lot of time for that kind of thing when you're making your way to being the next Fuhrer of Amestris. )
✓ He's endlessly loyal, protective of those he chooses to keep close to him to the point of reckless self-endangerment when it comes to keeping them safe. It might take a bit to earn his trust, but once you've gotten it, you have it indefinitely. Unless you happen to fuck up so badly that he feels that trust is broken. There is no coming back from that.
✕ He can become obsessed with things like vengeance, the need for judgment to be passed and justice served, which means he errs more toward acting impulsively than rationally, and becomes so blinded by his own need for it that he loses sight of the bigger picture. This is why it's always in his best interest to keep someone around that does well with playing the voice of reason, of logic, when he finds himself with a one-track mind. ( Cough, Lieutenant Hawkeye, c o u g h. )

→ He also has a tendency to act impulsively when he's being a cocky little shit, though it's less severe than when he's chasing down that aforementioned vengeance; he can talk a big game and can generally follow through flawlessly, but let us take into consideration, for a moment, when he rushed at Scar in the middle of a downpour like he was expecting to do anything other than sizzle. If not for Hawkeye's quick thinking and follow-through, he absolutely would have gotten his head 'sploded. You're useless in the rain, colonel. Please remember that.

✓ His ambition to make his way up the chain of command, all the way to Fuhrer is because he wants to make the country a better place for its people; he cares deeply about Amestris, wants the nation to flourish while also atoning for the wrongs done to the Ishvalan people, and he has committed himself to doing everything in his power to see that happen, no matter what it takes.

Game Plan: As long as it isn't Hell all over again, he's not going to be very fussed about anything; the fewer opportunities to be made to hurt people the better, and he's not exactly new to the whole sex thing, but having experienced it once ( with castmates, to boot ) he's not going to be super impressed with everything. He'll play nice, but this is Roy Mustang, so if he's not being an arrogant bastard and getting on your nerves, I'm not doing it properly.

Personality: Prickly older brother that's bringing the shotgun to meet his sister's boyfriend for the first time trope turned up to an 11. Proud and stubborn to a fault, and a little too honest to be considered socially acceptable. He's a hater... sorta. He does actually care a lot, but good luck getting past the thorny exterior. Anyone willing to deal with a lot of sharp bits will find out he's accidentally a huge romantic and fiercely protective.

Game Plan: Play nice? Ravus? Absolutely not. This man is so maladapted to anything but throwing himself at a singular, insane goal under the worst kind of pressure that he's going to be a disaster here for a little. Can't wait for this man to be so messy.

He had it really good.

But then Elidibus lost his Zodiark-damned mind. Ophiuchus made an emergency broadcast showing that SOMETHING had happened to the Emissary that caused him to forget everything, even his station and duty. Then he was noticed, and Elidibus killed his DTF. Surely that didn't make things super worse (it absolutely did). He's running about on Sikalina, hallucinating and having a really bad time.

Summary: Sephiroth is doing a few things! One involves having a conversation that's going to take a turn for the dark and weird with a newly ~~or at least it was new when the thread started~~ canon-updated Cloud, where Seph has no idea Cloud 1) HAS THE BLACK MATERIA FOR SOME REASON, and 2) is under Jenova's influence and is projecting that onto Amani Seph, despite Amani Seph not having Jenova active in his own brain. Another involves talking to Angeal about his (Geal's) recent wedding anniversary with Genesis, and being gifted some jewelry made of Geal's own wing feathers - symbolic of Geal's efforts to stop hating his wings so much, something Seph and Gen have both been trying to help him do. And he's also doing a post-door event thread with Red XIII where he is absolutely love-bombed because Red got to see how Seph was forced to live in the labs as a child under Hojo and is so damn upset about it he desperately wants to make it up to Seph in. Some kind of way.

Summary: Gladio's got a few threads going! One is a mutual confession thread between himself and Noctis ~~which is going extremely slowly because I am struggling at writing smut rn and that's where they're at~~. Another is a mutual confession thread between himself and Prompto, which is a cute picnic where smut is NOT happening because Gladio still needs to clear their relationship with his more long-term boyfriend Ignis before he makes a move! (Noct slid in under the radar because Iggy wasn't around to ask during the time that thread happened.) Then there's another thread with Noct where they're having fun ribbing on each other, and are going to end up discussing Noct's worries about his relationship with Iggy. And, finally, a thread with Iggy where Iggy is absolutely fed up with Gladio being hesitant about banging him when Iggy is - due to Amani timeline shenanigans - much younger than Gladio, and he reminds Gladio that his boyfriend is super hot and any age and that he doesn't have to hold back on banging his own boyfriend, especially when said boyfriend wants it bad.
