Check-in + Character Claims (April)

While Amani doesn't have an Activity Check proper, it'd still be nice to know how everyone is doing!

Going forward, check-ins + character claims will be more or less the same thing for players already in the game! To know who has already claimed what characters, please check the previous post.

The purpose of this post is to:
★ Give a small summary of what your character has been up to
★ General plans/ideas you have
★ See what characters are present and welcome new people coming into the game!

★ If you JOINED IN LATE MARCH and don't have a lot to summarize, that's totally fine! Giving a game plan instead or ideas of what you'd like/hope to do is fine as well! Basically, it's just a way for me to count heads and see who's still interested in hanging around.

★ Copy and paste the claim form to the comments below.
★ Fill out the subject line with: Character | Canon (CRAU if applicable)
★ Amani does not do claim challenges. Character claims submitted will be on a first-come, first-serve basis. Make sure you check before placing a character claim!
★ Once your character is claimed, please head on over to the taken page to make it official official!

MOD NOTES
Just a few things from Pudding to point out for the upcoming month!

★ The F.A.Q. needs to be updated. Still. I know. Forgive me, you know, it's just L I F E. For now, ignore mostly everything in the activity check & character claims section because I changed my mind on a lot and need to adjust/clarify.

★ A reminder that players can add their own tags to the network and log communities! So, have at it! Tag all the things!

★ Keep your eyes peeled for a poll about game pacing that will be going up sometime soon! I've gotten some feedback on things and would like to have second opinions/other perspectives to weigh in on what should change (or not!) to make this as chill and fun of a space as I can.

★ Additionally, as the game grows I may need a little help. It isn't at the point of formally requesting helper mods but with my new school quarter starting soon, it might be nice to have an extra pair of hands or two to help me keep all my duckies in a row! If you're interested, please let me know.

★ The flora & fauna submission mechanic has been updated! While originally new creatures / plants needed to have a sexy stamp for approval, fuck that. Just link your character claim (or check-in) comment if you want to start adding to it. Thank you for the native wyverns now give me more cool creatures.

★ The calendar for April is up and ready! It now includes:

» Character birthdays! That way, everyone will know when everyone's birthday is and there is no escaping the celebration.
» Rotating monthly memes! ATP/Enable Me, Love Meme, etc. etc.
» WEATHER!

★ Thanks again so much guys for making this little gamebox feel so lively and fun! Please, don't be afraid to come to me with feedback, suggestions, just to say hey, and so on! I'm really excited to see us growing little by little and how enthused people seem to be overall. It warms my tentacled moderator heart.
