While Amani doesn't have an Activity Check proper, it'd still be nice to know how everyone is doing!

Going forward, check-ins + character claims will be more or less the same thing for players already in the game! To know who has already claimed what characters, please check the previous post.

The purpose of this post is to:
★ Give a small summary of what your character has been up to
★ General plans/ideas you have
★ See what characters are present and welcome new people coming into the game!

TEMPLATE

★ If you JOINED IN LATE APRIL and don't have a lot to summarize, that's totally fine! Giving a game plan instead or ideas of what you'd like/hope to do is fine as well! Basically, it's just a way for me to count heads and see who's still interested in hanging around.

CHARACTER CLAIMS

The basic guide to claiming a new character is:
★ Copy and paste the claim form to the comments below.
★ Fill out the subject line with: Character | Canon (CRAU if applicable)
★ Amani does not do claim challenges. Character claims submitted will be on a first-come, first-serve basis. Make sure you check before placing a character claim!
★ Once your character is claimed, please head on over to the taken page to make it official official!

★ MOD NOTE: If you claim a character this month, you do not have to check-in until next month! TEMPLATE

Invited by: The name of who invited you
Contact: plurk, discord, pm, etc.
Other characters, if any: put their journal here or n/a. if applying two characters in one round, this would be the place to mention that!

CHARACTER
Character Name: Your character's name in either Western or Eastern order
Canon: Name of the canon you're playing them from
Canon Point: The episode, chapter, book, etc. that your character is coming from
Age: Characters must be at least 16 y/o mentally and physically. 
Link to History: For canon characters, this can be a wiki link. For OCs, this can be a separate journal entry or wherever you have their history. or just give me the cliff notes because, really, it's less for me and more for other people to get an idea of the character

CRAU: are they coming from somewhere else? if this isn't applicable, you may omit this section!
AU Clarification: Explain to us a little bit about how they're different due to their experiences in the previous game/setting they were in

Personality: Tell us about your character's personality! Just a basic overview is fine! this can also be told through the art of interpretive memes or vines

Game Plan: How will your character adjust to being Amani and the knowledge that they are dead? How will they forge bonds with others and play nice? This is basically a summary of what your hopes for your time in the game are!
Interested in: here's a place to list the tropes, kinks, etc. specifically that you'd like to play out! you can also mention things you'd rather avoid, if you'd like

Anything else?: Anything extra you'd like to link or, as we all know, the good ol meme section.

MOD NOTES
Just a few things from Pudding to point out for the upcoming month!

★ The F.A.Q. has been updated but there are still some minor things to check on and go over! I'm getting there!

★ A reminder that players can add their own tags to the network and log communities! So, have at it! Tag all the things!

★ As the game grows, I now need a little help. If you're interested, please let me know either via DM on Discord, hitting up the mod contact, etc.! I won't have a formal request page or anything like that but know I would certainly appreciate a helping set of hands and some people have expressed interest in that.

★ A reminder that the flora & fauna submission mechanic has been updated! While originally new creatures / plants needed to have a sexy stamp for approval, fuck that. Just link your character claim (or check-in) comment if you want to start adding to it. Thank you for the native wyverns and chocobos, now give me more cool creatures.

★ The calendar for May is up and ready! It now includes:

★ We are almost at player cap! We're currently at 38/40 players without clearing out from the last month yet so, you know, if you have friends interested now is the time to encourage them to claim! Due to real life constraints and personal preference, I will not be extending this cap.

Personality: Sylvain Fire Emblem but 50x more cringe. FLIRTY, BUT HAS NO GAME. SOMETIMES CRIES WHEN HE GETS REJECTED. He's sensitive, sweet and kind of stupid. I love him. According to the wiki, he can be summarised with this: "A mercenary who travelled back in time to save the past. He may be shy, but he still wants to be a dancer like his mother, Olivia. He won't admit it, though - not even to her! Most people see him as a helpless flirt, but the truth is he talks to women to work through his crippling shyness."
