TL;DR the setting: Japan in the future uses high tech brain scans to judge the likelihood that someone will commit a crime, and imprisons or executes them based on that. Yeah. It's not good. Unfortunately turns out cops all have incredibly high crime coefficients huh who could have guessed, so there are now TWO kinds of cop. Enforcers who actually take the killing shots and do the bulk of the detective work, and Inspectors who follow them around ready to shoot them if they do anything too criminal. At five years old Kagari's persistent cloudy hue was ruled 'untreatable' by therapy or other means and he was sent to live in an isolation facility so that he did not get any latent criminal cooties on his classmates. Rather than wait to die in a cell he decided to become an enforcer.

PEACEKEEPER PROFILE

Personality: In a series up to its eyeballs in pretentious moralizing philosophy, Kagari is a lone island of 'shitpost level nihilism'. He's fully aware the system he's in is fucked to hell and back, but even more keenly aware that there's absolutely nothing he can do about it. So he takes what he can, makes the best of it for himself, and does his due diligence as a filthy degenerate hedonist living it up on the government's dime.

Game Plan: Kagari is going to be slightly tickled to watch his world crumble, but also be pretty sure this is some kind of elaborate and highly unethical research on crime coefficients and exposure to sex. Based on what he saw moments before getting here he is pretty sure he is in a brain in a jar getting pumped full of new drugs to see if his 'incorrigible' hue can be fixed with the right regiment of stimulants and hallucinogens. The decision to keep hue statistics inaccessible to the participants is a weird one, but not unheard of. Maybe Sybil didn't want his brain and he got sold to a country that doesn't use their system. Who knows, what's important is that for the first time ever he can do literally anything he wants and there are no consequences, which should be great, but he really just misses his video games and his wok. Welp, only one thing to do about it. *unzipping noise*

Interested in: I am bringing in Kagari as technically a virgin, but having played a wide array of future scifi porn games. As a person already labeled an unsalvagable degenerate in his world, Kagari tells Akane that it's his duty as someone who can't get any worse to enjoy all the things that can cloud a person's hue. At the time he was talking about alcohol, but it's a philosophy he applies to all areas of his life. But, despite regularly cranking it to dead dove content out of spite for society and his own mental state, his real tastes are often much less niche. I am looking forward to him exploring sex and desire for his own sake rather than as an oblique form of self harm.

Personality:

He is a purple/blue hybrid Hawke. Aka the funny, mostly dipolomatic one.
Hawke is charismatic, sarcastic, and (generally) friendly. He gathers party members like pokemon cards and if you're not on his shit list, he can be pretty cool guy to be around. He cares deeply for his family and friends, and even while making playful jabs at them, he will go to the ends of the earth to keep them safe. Unfortunately, his track record - especially for family members - isn't great and his constant inability to protect them hits his self-esteem pretty hard. He covers up his insecurities with humor, though, and rarely does he burden anyone with his problems - mostly so he can take care of their problems for them instead, so he can feel even a little bit useful.

tldr: He's trying his best, he fails a lot, but still keeps on trucking for the sake of everyone around him. Also he's hilarious.

Game Plan: He won't be surprised! He got dumped in the Fade and essentially left to die. He will not anticipate the afterlife to be so... cool? He gets to fuck and chill out and people aren't hounding him (mostly) for shit all the time? Wild.

AU Clarification: All of the information of his time in game is written up here but for a TLDR:
Slumscape is a horror game steeped in the horror side of Japanese mythology with youkai where upon arrival to the dilapidated town of Hakagemachi stuck in between an unstable plane of space-time and reality, all characters are possessed by youkai in order to survive and "save this world" to work together with their hosts and spirits possessing them. Wei Wuxian was possessed by a kitsune youkai by the name of Suzuki (though went by Ren due to severe amnesia, but remembered his name later on) and had to work with him to solve mysteries and help restore the town through varying ways. This wasn't one-sided, as he gained the features and abilities OF the kitsune as well.

Through his journey there, he watched friends and loved ones both die and disappear, as well as attempted to sacrifice himself in various events. Fun times.

PEACEKEEPER PROFILE

Personality:
• Carefree: he is a rather carefree and laid back kinda guy, one who generally slacks off if he can, though this isn't to say he's weak.
• Self-deprecating: He is rather harsh on himself and holds immense guilt towards his past actions and life he led, and sees no issue in occasionally slipping a joke about it.
• Sadistic: He has a much crueller side to him that doesn't often show unless he's punishing those he truly hates.
• Oblivious: In terms of romance (and romance alone), the man's denser than a box of rocks. It took dying and reincarnating to realise he had feelings for the person closest to him. He is otherwise incredibly perceptive and observant.
• Arrogant: In his youth, he would often boast about being the best, although these words were not hot air and had truth to them.
• Humble: In an opposite vein, he is shown to be capable of incredible humility, at times so much so that it's a fault and flaw, often saying that people are overestimating him in his accomplishments (his infamous ones, especially).
• Sincere: although arrogant, he possesses the ability to be humble and admit his faults and mistake with the utmost honesty.
• Self-sacrificing & Noble hearted: He cannot bear to see unjust treatment and will do anything to protect those facing it, even if it meant turning on others he was close to. He is also willing to do anything for those he loves, even if the risks are high, such as when he had his own Golden Core transferred into Jiang Cheng after the latter's was melted.
• Intelligent and Inventive: He has always been the type to look for different ways to go about things, and after the loss of his Core, this shows through him creating a whole new path in the matter of 3 months as well as creating devices used by the rest of the cultivational world after his death despite their hatred of him

Game Plan: having already died once and spent 13 years in a hellish nightmare limbo he barely remembers + coming back through a sacrifice, not to mention spending nearly a year in a hellish murderous city where death was around the corner for anyone whether they went insane and fused with their youkai OR killed by others whether they be youkai or not? This place will be a nice change of pace for him and he'll rather enjoy it. What's one more death when he's died already and been in a world where death could happen again at any given moment? This'll be a nice vacation for he and Suzuki both.

Though seeing his adoptive son here will be Interesting for him, as well as learning his son Also fucks and is a magical furry monster too. But he'll be able to likely, hopefully, relax. Maybe.

PEACEKEEPER PROFILE

Personality: John Crichton is eternally an optimist. He stubbornly clings to his hope despite whatever hardships he encounters. More importantly, he is compassionate, and believes in the goodness of others no matter who or what they are.

As a commander, he does his best to lead by example, constantly striving to do what he believes is the right even if it's hard. In general, he disapproves of violence. When forced into a conflict, he searches for every opportunity to solve problems through peaceful compromise. Killing should always be viewed as a last resort. Sometimes it is the only option. But even knowing that, he still feels terrible remorse any time he's forced to make that choice.

John Crichton is a fiercely loyal friend. He will put his life on the line without question to save the ones he loves, and if necessary, he will go to any length in the name of protecting them. He is at his most dangerous when his family and friends are being threatened. There is no quicker way to take him off the path of peace.

Despite how he eccentric often acts, he is extremely intelligent and crafty. His goofy demeanor can tempt those around him to underestimate that intelligence. Yet, he has been able to prove time and again that his creativity and clever wit are a formidable match when paired with his impulsive unpredictability. His plans never work the way they are supposed to, but that's why he's so good at improvising.

He does have his flaws. He can be selfish and obsessive. When upset, lashes out childishly and he is also prone to pouting and isolating himself. When he’s chasing after an obsession (such as wormholes) he becomes close-minded and stubborn. Fortunately, a good talk with someone he respects is usually enough to uninflated his ego.

His adventures in space certainly provide lots of opportunities to knock down his pride. Where once he was considered a foremost authority in his field--mission flight commander is no small accomplishment--now he is the least experienced member of his ragtag crew of escaped prisoners. Being the lowest man on the totem pole can be a bitter reality for him to swallow. But he is a team player, and he's learned to trust in his crew.

John's emotions run deep, though you might not know it at first glance. He puts on a boyish persona, constantly cracking jokes, quoting pop culture, or spouting witty one-liners as a way of shielding himself. He's been thrust into an unfamiliar and dangerous world, so he uses the references to help him distil the strangeness around him into something he can grasp. It helps him maintain his connection to Earth and his life before. Humor is the glue that keeps his mind together; without it, he would be adrift in unending loneliness. Despite the jokes, he does, in-fact, take things very seriously, and he often dwells on the darker parts of his experience in the small hours of the night. In the quiet between battles, doubt and sorrow can threaten to consume him. It’s at these moments where he needs the support of friends most.

At the end of it all, he’s just a man trying to stay ahead in a new world full of danger. He does his best to hold together, to weather his burdens while helping his friends work through their own. At times he breaks down, but he never loses the will to keep fighting. He believes the world is ultimately good, in spite of the evil he's encountered. He is determined not to lose hope for peace because, without that, he has nothing.

Game Plan: John is adaptable, so after a period of adjustment (accepting he's dead) he will integrate himself into the setting decently well. He's used to aliens of all shapes and sizes and ships that are sentient and all kinds of strange things, so this place won't shock him much. He's social by nature so he will naturally seek out companionship. It may take him a while to feel comfortable with being intimate with people, but he will gather a found family to himself like his life depends on it. Side note: the bad people in his word are called Peacekeepers so that will take some getting used to for him.

Interested in: I plan to make his DTF resemble the second personality he has jammed in his brain, Harvey, because that will both horrify and annoy him. I have a write-up of what Harvey is HERE. While John has this version of Harvey as a DTF, he won't know whether or not the actual Harvey is still with him. I'd like to play with that mystery for a while before ultimately having it come out that, yes, the real thing is still in his mind too just playing at being dormant.

Aside from that, I'd like him to have some nice development with finding friends and people to care for and eventually lovers, but that will take some time and buildup because he is in love with someone in his own world but suffice it to say that situation is very complicated. Part of his integrating here should involve him learning to move on, not just from his first love but move on from the fact that he never got to see Earth again before he died. He'll have a lot of grief to work through. I want all the feels for him.

Anything else?: He has, locked behind basically a memory firewall, the knowledge of how to create a devastating wormhole weapon (the kind that could absolutely wipe out all life in the universe.) In life, he was not able to access it but many, many evil people wanted to try and extract that knowledge from him by force (this is what Harvey was intended to do). I think he will always be worried that in this digital state, that information could possibly get unlocked on accident. That might be interesting to play with having happen, however it could also be kind of game breaking, so for now I'd just like to play with his awareness that it could be a problem from an IC perspective.

Personality: Yuri is a young mother of 3 children who are like rabid wolves and live in the sewer. He is crafty, he is cunning, he knows how to get what he wants, and underneath it all he's got a cripplingly poor sense of self worth. Regardless, he still holds himself to fairly high standards, even if his work is literally in the dirt and will always see a job through. He's a mean girl, but with a tender streak for people who worm his way into his heart (and by tender, I mean he will still be a mean girl, but in a sweeter way.)

He cares deeply about those in Abyss, though sometimes these methods when it comes to caring can ultimately surprise everyone (for example, being a liar liar pants on fire until the very last minute because he has trust issues when it comes to deeper, more dangerous plans). Ultimately, Yuri has a strong sense of self and an even stronger set of morals. Everything he does is for those who are often stepped on in Fódlan, the common folk and those who lay even lower without a coin to their name.

He is a skilled tactician who can always manage to figure out a problem, a leader, and a lockbox of secrets. An an incorrigible flirt, but who knows whether that's real or not? Who knows if anything about Yuri is ultimately real.

Game Plan: Hey, guess what! Yuri's gonna hate the fact that this Peacekeeper is saying that they're all dead, especially because everyone and their mother from Fódlan is here? That sucks. Yuri is not going to be difficult about forging bonds with others, well "bonds" but you get the gist of it. He's a tough nut to crack re: emotional intimacy, but he will no doubt be willing to play nice with the Peacekeepers otherwise very kinky rules. He knows how to strut his stuff.

Interested in: Oh help I want everything, but thinking specifically for Yuri, really intense D/s probably whether he's "on bottom" or topping, he will always strive for control. Any sort of rope work, knife play, exhibitionism, maybe some passing around who's to say.

PEACEKEEPER PROFILE

Personality: Dimitri in hopes on the surface seems a bit more calm and collected than his other iterations but he really isn't. He has had two years of being the king, sacrificing any bit of happiness for himself for his people and trying to maintain peace. If anything, Dimitri in hopes is a wreck. He's learned to hide his dark emotions more and while he does take advice from his friends he is still very self destructive and doesn't listen to them as soon as he is alone. He's still haunted by the dead and rarely sleeps to the point of him making it a mission to personally bury the dead as atonement. While he isn't one to really throw his title around he does use it with those he considers enemies and will assert himself to get what he wants. He's more assertive as a whole from other versions of Dimitri. The fact that he had to become king before he was ready and also become a kinslayer is something that hasn't left dimitri since the moment it happened. It weighs heavy on him that he had to kill his uncle though he is at least content in having clarity into the tragedy of duscur. Having fought himself in Shambhala as well as apparitions of Claude and Edelgard, was eye opening to him. He was haunted by his dark thoughts while there but overcame them enough to 'kill himself.' That fight stuck with him more than he wanted it to. Besides the new traumas he is still a very troubled man on the brink of a total and utter breakdown but trying to hold it together. He will still laugh at awful puns, has no sense of taste, sometimes talks to himself

Game Plan: Hopes is not happy that he is here. He just won his war against the empire and TWSITD only a week prior to appearing here. He's given his life for his people and knows nothing of trying to live for himself. I plan to have him be a bit of a chaotic wrench in peace until he calms down and starts to actually enjoy himself. He feels he doesn't deserve love so he is going to try pushing any kindness away until he really learns to accept himself and thus others as well. He personally has a vendetta against the peacekeeper and is going to try not to give in to their kinky rules but there is only so much he will deny himself.

Interested in: Go ham with Hopes. I really will allow most things and his kinks are really anything. He's had sex before so he isn't a virgin and knows what he's doing most of the time. If you are still unsure feel free to message me and we can plot. He definitely likes things more heated so maybe a spar or something else to work up the tension will help. He's a dom but that doesn't mean it's impossible to top him, just gonna put up a nasty fight about it.

Personality: His primary personality trait is the fact that he is an ACTIVIST, and very LOUD about it. Mages suffer some very extreme oppression in most of Thedas, and he has gone to great lengths to fight for their freedoms, going so far as to kill and die for it. Aside from this, he is helpful, sardonic, stubborn, and self-sacrificing. Also a little bit whiney at times. King of giving stupid names to cats.

Game Plan: So far, Anders has spent some time in TDMs, struggling to cope with the violent, brutal circumstances of his prolonged and traumatic death. However, he has reconnected with Hawke, who reciprocates the feelings that the Hawke from his own timeline rejected. This has considerably helped his mental state. Currently, his plan is to reopen a beloved old stomping ground with Hawke and start meeting new people in Amani.

Personality: Surly and sullen, Shane prefers to keep to himself and wards off others with his cold demeanor. However, this is less because he actually wants to be alone and more because he thinks he deserves it. In truth, Shane is starved for friendship, love, and purpose.
