PEACEKEEPER PROFILE

Personality: I did say I have way too many memes.

Game Plan: Kurama will be coming to Amani from Demon World, so he's probably just going to Not Think about the implications of Human World being destroyed also, to hold onto the last shreds of his sanity. It's fine. Mostly, I'm winging it and he's disturbingly adaptable so I'm sure it'll be just another transition for him. He literally talks about the idea of death not even bothering him at his current canonpoint so not too worried about that part.

Considering his "go with the flow" nature next to the fact that he was on the fast track to becoming the next Demon World King back in the day, his trajectory here could go many different places and I'm curious to see what manifests and which parts of his personality he leans into more as time goes on. He's either going to be super well behaved or cause a lot of problems, maybe a little bit of both.

Interested in: honestly, Kurama is a blank slate! I've tried nothing with him in the NSFW department so I'm looking forward to exploring his interests through interaction with others. I'm also cool with that never happening and just making friends or doing FTB scenarios. I am literally not fussed either way, and neither is he.

Game Plan: Ed has been to six different worlds at this point, two of which claimed to be the afterlife. One of which claimed multidimensional doom was upon us. Two did neither of those things and one was just a portal to Europe.

He's not impressed anymore, he's pretty cynical about the whole thing and will likely just decide this is what the after life is. A series of worlds that all insist they're different somehow from the last one, whatever, as long as he's not being tortured. I imagine he'll start out pretty jaded and annoyed, but it's not Hell so that's a plus! He will settle in pretty quickly, he's learned to do that.

Interested in: Ed is asexual and disinterested in sex. That has never stopped me and by now, doesn't stop him either. He's very much a service top and prefers to keep his own clothes on, but that's negotiable under the right circumstances.

The only thing he's going to care about is that this isn't Hell or Zhautas and the castmates from another reality aren't here. Yes, Zhautas was worse than literal Hell. No he will not elaborate.

Summary: Barnabas attended the meeting at the Hall which was in regards to the ongoing investigation of Rosie's sudden demise. A demise helped along, one could say. He spent most of it observing everyone, choosing not to speak unless spoken to directly. Which did happen! Afterwards, he and Cid retired to the Einherjar, and through a little uh persuasion, lets call it, Barnabas has agreed to assist in the investigation. Otherwise, there's also the egg shenanigans that went down, and he's been paired with Angeal of all people. Not that he cares, but Angeal certainly does!

Summary: Dion has been trying his damnedest to convince everyone the murder is Barnabas' fault, but it really doesn't help that he isn't relying on anything beyond his own bias. He kind of thinks the evidence is a little irrelevant, though as far as he's concerned none of it disproves Barnabas' involvement so he doesn't see why people even care to pretend otherwise. Still, he isn't exactly helping his own case here. Likewise he was also given an egg task, assigned to Namari, who...well, their main interaction has been a little bit of an argument over the aforementioned biased damning of Barnabas with lack of proof. What a great pair...

Summary: Emet has helped with some of the investigation going on with Rosie's apparent murder, even if he doesn't want to get too involved in all of this. Honestly, he's figured this was bound to happen eventually, you get a bunch of mortals into a small area, and someone is going to end up dead. It is literally in their nature. Anyway, he okayed Noctis using the Hall to host a meeting so that people can share their findings and sort through them in an attempt to figure out what to do going forward, and perhaps to continue the investigation to find a proper conclusion. His part has mostly been watching over the proceedings of the meeting, though he admittedly cannot help himself with putting together the pieces and puzzling out the possibilities. He's always enjoyed little mysteries...

He kept quiet about Barnabas being a suspect, up until the end just about, but after a confrontation with Angeal when he tried to explain that Barnabas was with him the whole night (as well as voicing his concerns about the approach to justice), things got a little heated. He also spoke with Rosie about her missing ring which he noticed, which lead to them finally talking about their marriage.

Nonetheless, his son has announced his engagement to Elidibus, which is some good news. Lahabrea now needs to learn how to plan a wedding. This is a daunting task, but he undertakes it out of love. Then there's the matter of Lahabrea pursuing Byleth, but that's a completely different story.

So enjoy that, Amani! In the present, Cloud's reluctantly being an egg caretaker with Dimitri, which should be a fun time for someone, anyway. Finally, right at the end of the month, Cloud and Zack canon updated together to the end of Rebirth, and that's gonna have Some Fallout that for now only the VII crew will see, but I'm sure it'll become apparent to others in not too long...

Summary: Also some backtagging, including a bunch of truth or dare threads like the one with Noctis visiting Laios to grumpily kiss him. Also, Noctis and Prompto won a lovely table with a dog crate built into it, and Noctis decided it was time to put that puppy training Angeal gave him into action. Then, uh...Rosie got murdered and Noctis saw red for a bit, and then once he calmed down he called an emergency meeting of the Hall of Rhetoric in an attempt to get everyone to cooperate in pooling evidence and connecting some dots. It...sort of went that way, kinda. And kinda not. Noctis mostly just stood back unless someone needed him for Hall staff things or giving information. Aside from that, Noctis is getting a house for the chocobros to live in, because now that all four of them are together again he doesn't want to let any of them out of his sight. Especially you, Ignis. Not that Noct has any codependency issues or anything, definitely not. And now he's playing egg dad with Mithrun, which he'd maybe kind of enjoy if it wasn't for literally everything about this trip through the jungle. If anyone finds him and Mithrun passed out and curled up with the egg on the ground, please help.

Summary: Elidibus was present at the discussion at the Hall of Rhetoric involving Rosie's murder, though he more observed than participated - as was his duty. Luckily, things remained civil enough that he did not have to intervene. He is expecting to be required to help deal with the murderer, whoever they might be, should they be found. While he is not looking forward to that, he is hoping that it provides Rosie a bit of relief after having gone through what she did. This month also had a lot of backtagging! He continued to deepen his bond with his newer partners - Caspar, Cloud, Dimitri, Rosie... he's really getting around. This Emissary can fit SO many boyfriends, and has never been happier for it. He did participate in the egg event as well, though those threads are still in development.

Summary: In March, she was murdered. Since then, she's been a bit... out of sorts. Learning the theory of how she died (during sex) has basically put her libido at a standstill. While she's been trying for the sake of her closest partners (and Ardyn's birthday especially), she's obviously Struggling and not sure how to move past it just yet. Notably, she hasn't been sleeping almost at all and seems to be keeping herself even busier than usual. She took care of a Guardian egg with The Doll though and enjoyed the makeshift spa... even if in the dead of night when no one else would likely bother her. Her own birthday is next month too, but she's not sure how to feel about it or if she'll even draw any attention to it.

He's been trying to reconcile being a monster not taking away from being the man he is and wants to be but it's not easy. Summary: Still reeling a bit from reuniting with and reaffirming his feelings toward Kabru, only to lose him shortly after, Mithrun threw his attention into both work and murder investigation. At the Hall meeting, he presented what testimony he collected and previous knowledge that he felt may be relevant alike, as well as asking some logistical questions around the abilities of the suspects he was less familiar with. In Sikalina, he was assigned to transport an egg along with Noctis... which ended up with them both lost and sick from mana exhaustion. Great teamwork.

Summary: While Namari didn't have a lot to contribute to the Hall meeting, she did what she could... which more or less came down to putting forth her opinion that Laios was absolutely not competent enough to do something like this. Laios didn't make it easy, seeing as how his efforts to defend himself against Alastor's shitstirring only really made him look worse, but... she did what she could. Afterward, she agreed to help with a Guardian egg on Sikalina, and on one hand she was assigned to work with one of the only people she'd actually spoken to before! On the other hand, it was Dion, who she had only argued with. Surely that will go great.

Summary: Happy 25th birthday, Erika, you still don't know who killed the woman you love. Knowing perfectly well that she was way too close to this shit emotionally to get involved productively in the Hall meeting, Erika mostly focused her energy this month on trying to support Rosie in the aftermath of her death and the ongoing investigation. Upon agreeing to help out in Sikalina, as well, Erika was assigned to work with Joshua! Gay-lesbian collaboration hours. She'll also likely be engaging in some gay-ass bathing with Rosie after the fact, trying to keep helping her relax a bit where she can.

Summary: Being less suited to investigating crimes than, just, getting so so mad about them and envisioning acts of violence against the perpetrators (especially with the victim being someone he cares about), Caspar... was more or less just fidgeting and fuming during the Hall meeting. He isn't doing great with knowing something bad happened to his friend, but not knowing who to be mad at about it! As such, it was... probably for the best that the need for assistance in Sikalina gave him somewhere else to put his energy - and that he was paired with Ignis for egg transport, so that someone was actually there to balance out his... everything. As attentive an egg parent as Caspar was, he really benefited, as usual, from having someone more levelheaded around.

He also signed up to help on Sikalina, where he ended up co-parenting an egg (among other things) with Genesis, and stretching his wings in dragon form after... too long, quite frankly.
