The purpose of this post is to:
★ Give a small summary of what your character has been up to. Please try to do 2-3 sentences so the moderator has information to work with for events or ideas they have may for individualizing things!
★ General plans/ideas you have
★ See what characters are present and welcome new people coming into the game!

★ MOD NOTE: If you claim a character this month, you do not have to check-in until next month!

MOD NOTES
Just a few things to remember each month!

★ A reminder that players can add their own tags to the network and log communities! So, have at it! Tag all the things!

★ The flora & fauna submission mechanic is available! While originally new creatures/plants needed to have a sexy stamp for approval, you now just need to link your character claim (or check-in) comment if you want to start adding to it. Give me more horrifying beasties, please.

★ Due to the amount of drops, sweeps, etc. we have lowered the player cap back to 40. There are currently a few slots available though! Invite your friends to come on down to the sinulation for a good time!

Summary: After losing Ardyn and Noctis, she canon updated! That was... a huge change, honestly. Rosie now has the knowledge that she didn't actually die back home when she believed she did. So, she has to grapple with what that means for a future she convinced herself wasn't possible as well as merging her two lives - the one in Amani, and the one in 'reality' - best she can. She's also having to navigate the difficulty of addressing what her going for a canon update meant and how that hurt those she cares for in Amani. She'll be grateful for the brief stint in The House of Hades during August to help clear her head.

Summary: Things have been quiet for Dimitri, mostly, since he's lost... many people in the last few months especially. One of the only remaining people from home, he's wondered what that means and considering again his own return to Fodlan eventually. While he's happy for the lift he's built here with Byleth, he does want to see (and especially after visiting The House of Hades) what might be possible for reviving/correcting their world eventually.

Summary: For one thing, Erika afflicted the mingle with world-specific filmmaking trivia. For another... well, she looked after Rosie during her canon update, and... sat on how she felt about the knowledge that Rosie asked to go back, thinking she was dead in her own world, with her insecurities around Rosie's relationship with Ardyn in particular being what they are. It was a pretty rough time, and one that meant there was some talking to do once Rosie woke up! With that talking having happened, though (in the IC timeline, still being threaded), they've probably sorted some things out, and the next Dead End will probably be a good chance to keep doing that without it being all that's on Erika's mind.

Summary: In backdating news, Rosie showed Mithrun DDR, and Mithrun told her about how the changeling mushrooms will kill them without hesitation. A roughly equivalent exchange of information. In more current threads, though, he was mildly annoying on the mingle about the various baking/cooking knowledge he's accumulated - and, probably more importantly, finally gave Angeal an answer to his confession from some months back. Mithrun wasn't sure it was a very satisfying answer, since it came with a lot of qualifiers about the limitations and unpredictability of his current state, but.... it was an answer, and it was exciting for him to realize that he definitely wants something with Angeal. Now, of course, he's already to die a bunch in Greece, because he is unfortunately still himself.

Summary: Caspar wasn't particularly busy, because his player realized more than halfway through the month that she had maybe taken on too much freelancing at once - but he DID have some backdated talk with R.L about the courses one's life can take that got a little deeper than he really expected. He guesses that's just how it is, sometimes! Also, he's increasingly thinking he really should talk to Dimitri about feelings again, because... look, at this point he doesn't know if they actually technically ARE in a relationship or? What's up?? He knows he loves Dimitri, and that Dimitri loves him, and also that Dimitri knows all that, but he's also gonna be kind of restless until he Says It For Real.

Summary: Namari fell to the same "player took on too much work and is too tired to write jocks" issue that Caspar did this month - BUT, she did get a bit done in backtagging! ...Notably, R.L picked up on her race and previous job, and, with regard to the latter... mentioned that Angeal has a forge, so Namari will doubtless be hassling him about that. Speaking of weapons, she will 100% be geeking out over the weapons provided in the House of Hades to anyone who will listen!

Summary: Once again, thanks to my workload leaving me with few spoons for new threads, Van has mainly been having adventures in backtag land. Namely, spoiling the hell out of Rosie on her most recent birthday (and starting to think if not actually say the L-word) and finding out just how intense his breeding kink actually is. After getting drunker than he's been in a while on the June mingle, he was a little less active on July's - though he does still get to infodump about How Goddamn Weird Tamriel Is to an unsuspecting stranger, so that's fun. There are also plans in place for his time in the House of Hades even if I haven't actually started my runs yet.
