Check-in + Character Claims (July)

While Amani doesn't have an Activity Check proper, it'd still be nice to know how everyone is doing!

Going forward, check-ins + character claims will be more or less the same thing for players already in the game! To know who has already claimed what characters, please check the previous post.

The purpose of this post is to:
★ Give a small summary of what your character has been up to. Please try to do 2-3 sentences so the moderator has information to work with for events or ideas they have may for individualizing things!
★ General plans/ideas you have
★ See what characters are present and welcome new people coming into the game!

MOD NOTES
Just a few things from Pudding to point out for the upcoming month!

★ A reminder that players can add their own tags to the network and log communities! So, have at it! Tag all the things!

★ If you're interested in helping out with moderator duties, please let me know either via DM on Discord, hitting up the mod contact, etc.! Some people have already assisted (thanks mochi for the check-in sheet!) but obviously I'm still running a bit behind in some ways like timely sexy stamp approvals.

★ A reminder that the flora & fauna submission mechanic is available! While originally new creatures / plants needed to have a sexy stamp for approval, you now just need to link your character claim (or check-in) comment if you want to start adding to it. Thank you for the native wyverns and chocobos, now give me more cool creatures.

★ The calendar for July will be updated shortly!

» Character birthdays! That way, everyone will know when everyone's birthday is and there is no escaping the celebration. If your character has a birthday this month please let me know via DM on Discord.
» Rotating monthly memes! ATP/Enable Me, Love Meme, etc. etc.
» WEATHER!

★ We have four slots open for new players after the player cap was increased to 45! We're currently at 41/45 players according to who has responded to the taken and/or drop page. Please, make sure you're using the taken page when you claim so that way I can keep an accurate tally since this is a capped game box.

Summary: Aerith arrived at the start of the month. Since then she's addressed feelings with Cloud and Sephiroth in equal measure (Cloud about some fibs he had been telling and Sephiroth about their shared past and future). Aerith was slightly awed at getting to see the ocean for the first time and made friends with a friendly neighbourhood wolf. She spent her time at Tanabata making ShinRa's SOLDIERs win her stuffed toys and harassing Angeal.

Summary: Went on a date with Thanatos for a walk beside the water. Got bodyily taken out of Rosie's Records by Anika after trying to make an ill attempted stagejack. Licked her wounds in private. Met Edelgard by the wishing tree.

Summary: Marianne was recently reunited with her beloved friend Hilda. She made friends(?) with Anika at the training ground when she discovered she was being watched. She met Hopes!Dimitri at the tanabata festival and shared a treat with him. She treated Anika's wounds when she wound up getting injured by the mermaids and was (at a bare minimum) kissed by her. Met Megara who she almost instantly has a crush on. Lots of new connections welling up.

Summary: Ren was sad at the start of the month because Kenzie disappeared. Thankfully, hanging out with Wayland at the festival and flummoxing him with complicated clothes put her in a better mood. She had a slightly terse conversation with Anika where she explained that she had been separated from the Garou for well over seven months between Amani and the Nameless Island. It didn't end well. Ren broke her bed with Dimitri (turns out two very very very strong fucking isn't always a great idea on an insecure bed). She requested the help of a carpenter and somehow wound up having a big talk about feelings with Wayland. He said I love you, she say 'dude how can you friendzone me like this???'.
