While Amani doesn't have an Activity Check proper, it'd still be nice to know how everyone is doing!

Going forward, check-ins + character claims will be more or less the same thing for players already in the game! To know who has already claimed what characters, please check the previous post.

The purpose of this post is to:
★ Give a small summary of what your character has been up to. Please try to do 2-3 sentences so the moderator has information to work with for events or ideas they have may for individualizing things!
★ General plans/ideas you have
★ See what characters are present and welcome new people coming into the game!

★ If you JOINED IN LATE JULY and don't have a lot to summarize, that's totally fine! You can wait until closer to the end of the month to give a summary after the month's event has happened.

The basic guide to claiming a new character is:
★ Copy and paste the claim form to the comments below.
★ Fill out the subject line with: Character | Canon (CRAU if applicable)
★ Amani does not do claim challenges. Character claims submitted will be on a first-come, first-serve basis. Make sure you check before placing a character claim!
★ Once your character is claimed, please head on over to the taken page to make it official official! You will not allowed into the communities until commenting to the taken page.

★ MOD NOTE: If you claim a character this month, you do not have to check-in until next month! TEMPLATE

CRAU: are they coming from somewhere else? if this isn't applicable, you may omit this section!
AU Clarification: Explain to us a little bit about how they're different due to their experiences in the previous game/setting they were in

Personality: Tell us about your character's personality! Just a basic overview is fine! this can also be told through the art of interpretive memes or vines

Game Plan: How will your character adjust to being Amani and the knowledge that they are dead? How will they forge bonds with others and play nice? This is basically a summary of what your hopes for your time in the game are!
Interested in: here's a place to list the tropes, kinks, etc. specifically that you'd like to play out! you can also mention things you'd rather avoid, if you'd like

Anything else?: Anything extra you'd like to link or, as we all know, the good ol meme section.

MOD NOTES
Just a few things from Pudding to point out for the upcoming month! Despite just putting up the state of the game, there's still the general reminders to go over!

★ A reminder that players can add their own tags to the network and log communities! So, have at it! Tag all the things!

★ A reminder that the flora & fauna submission mechanic is available! While originally new creatures / plants needed to have a sexy stamp for approval, you now just need to link your character claim (or check-in) comment if you want to start adding to it. Give me more horrifying beasties, please.

★ The calendar for August has been updated!

AU Clarification: She wasn't sick anymore and realized people wanted to have sex with her which was wild and allowed her to open up a little more than she would have back home. Other than that she just kind of hung out in the woods and had a good time before she got whisked away back home to be a fae guardian.

PEACEKEEPER PROFILE

Personality:Night Sky mostly keeps to herself and does not share intimate details with others often - if at all - beyond the surface. As a Sylvan, she has a public name (Night Sky) that all would know her by, and a private name (Daeleth) that would normally be shared with loved ones and trusted friends. Given her lack of both, she has not shared her name with anyone in centuries, and even as friendly if with the Fae as she was both as a Sylvan and a Sidhe, she continues to hold this information close to the vest. Her lack of desire to share personal details at length is not an indicator of her true demeanor, however, - and most that have met her would even go so far as to say she was warm and welcoming when she happened across them in either forest - but a habit brought on by superstition that the fae she took solace with might trick her and steal her true name, and the knowledge that she would inevitably succumb to her illness and leave everyone she cared for behind; made it all the more difficult to get close to her and learn her depths.

Thanks to time spent in Ainmhian without the consumption plaguing her, she began to open up a little more and accept that people genuinely wanted to be around her; to the point they even wanted to have sex! An act that she had foregone once she knew she was contagious, not wanting to hurt anyone just to get her rocks off. She became more brazen, more outspoken with her desires, and while she never truly had a filter to begin with, it was made all the more apparent when she started opening up to people.

Night Sky is still friendly and fairly laid back even after her transformation, but takes her job as a guardian very seriously. She also still holds on to old habits and Sylvan traditions, even as she becomes more Fae-like, opting to use her public name and never give out her private one unless it is earned. Good luck.

Interested in: sky is down for pretty much anything and has no shame. She will try anything once and unless you're trying to kill her probably won't say no to whatever wild kink you're into. She's also poly and pan and u know me, the ship whore, will totally be down for whatever
