Just a few things from Chai to point out for the upcoming month! They are the usual general reminders to go over!

★ The flora & fauna submission mechanic is available! While originally new creatures/plants needed to have a sexy stamp for approval, you now just need to link your character claim (or check-in) comment if you want to start adding to it. Give me more horrifying beasties, please.

PEACEKEEPER PROFILE

Personality: At first glance Eddie is easygoing, immature, and a bit snarky. His sarcasm however belies his kind heart and keen mind. Described as the best Roadie in the business, Eddie has a remarkable talent for fixing just about anything, from fixing a guitar broken to pieces overnight to assembling a car out of little more than spare parts and some elbow grease. He also displays a great aptitude for combat and tactics, though he doesn't choose to lead. Instead, all of his efforts go to elevating his allies to be the best they can be.

He embodies the mindset of what he believes a Roadie should be wholly, believing his place in the world is to support others and help them shine. Not only for helping the leader of Ironheade in building and managing an army, but even to the individuals within that army, finding what troubles them and helping them overcome their issues to see how capable they really are.

He will absolutely be a smug little shit if he beats someone in a contest though, the roadie has a remarkable competitive streak demonstrated multiple times throughout Brutal Legend such as one-upping the Hunter for his kill count of the various beasts of the Age of Metal, or besting the demon Fletus at races across the land.

With regards to his more negative emotions, Eddie has a little more control than his appearance might give off. Even when it seemed like Ophelia was a traitor to the group, Eddie was absolutely willing to hear her out, even following the immediate tragedy of Lars' death. Despite Ophelia seeming to eventually raise an army against Ironheade, he always held out hope inside that some sort of resolution could be reached.

When he believed her dead, he was determined to take on Doviculus and avenge both her and Lars. Eddie might get loud and even more foul mouthed than usual if something has him angry, but he's not really been shown to fly off the handle or be easily provoked. In the case of provocation, he's happy to return some sass right back to the other party.

Game Plan: Assess his surroundings, figure out what needs to be done. Keeping his hands busy (HEH) will keep his mind off of what happened to his home. He'll be hoping to establish familiar surrounds in case anyone else from the Age of Metal came along for the trip.

Except Doviculus, fuck that guy.

Interested in: Dude's gonna make new friends and see about laying rod to save the universe, maybe play some music, show people what good Metal is. Who knows what sort of shenanigans he'll get into now that he's also contending with his mother's demonic heritage?

Personality: Haurchefant is loyal to a fault. A man who values honor and the bonds of friendship, as well as found-family in a way. He has seen a rough life due to the circumstances of his birth, but he remains radiantly positive despite. He is not unrealistic though, and although he is lead by his ideals, he still has a good head on his shoulders.

He can be a bit forward in matters of intimacy, he makes his wants and needs quite known. Not too inappropriate however, he is the utmost example of an upstanding knight. Above all else, he believes in his Warrior of Light (Obsidian) and holds him in the highest regard along with his other friends and allies.

He is willing to sacrifice anything, even himself, for the greater good.

Game Plan: Probably making up for lost time with Obsidian, amongst other things. He will likely throw himself headlong into trying to help his fellow members of the simulation to the best of his ability.

PEACEKEEPER PROFILE

Personality: Beneath Joshua's gentle, bookish exterior and frail body lies a heart burning with fierce devotion and a will that pushes him to push himself even when it's dangerous or outright harmful to him. His determination far outstrips the limitations his sickly nature imposes, and as quiet and kind as he can be and often is, his assertiveness and fearlessness know few bounds. Hesitation and giving up are for other people; when Joshua wants or needs something, he'll stop at nothing until it happens, regardless of anyone else's insistence that he should probably slow down and take time to rest. As a Dominant of Fire, that determination can sometimes spill over into anger or other intense emotions, which he has no qualms about expressing.

Some of that also comes from his ingrained belief that he must always prove himself capable enough to do the duties he feels are his to perform as the Phoenix and Archduke of Rosaria - and as Clive's brother. He has always looked up to and adored his older brother, enough that he dedicated his life to studying anything that might help save Clive from what seems to be his dismal fate. Joshua's need to be there for others when they need help sometimes leads him to second-guess his decisions or lament that he didn't know enough or wasn't able to do more to prevent tragedy.

On a brighter note, Joshua enjoys history and scholarship, and his mind is alight with curiosity and a drive to get to the bottom of whatever mystery has caught his eye. He can be a bit distractable as a result, needing a nudge here and there to keep him on task.

Socially, he can come across as a bit strange, weirdly formal, or a little too in his feels at times; he was raised as the divinely blessed heir to an archdukedom until age ten, spent five years in a coma, and then lived among a reclusive and eerie bunch of people whose only purpose in life was to protect and serve him personally, so he hasn't had a ton of normal social interactions until recently. But he's open-minded, compassionate, and believes strongly in equality for all.

Game Plan: Joshua will definitely want to get to the bottom of what's going on with the Creators and the cosmos and such. He'll also be glad to finally have the opportunity to build strong personal bonds and experience intimacy of both the physical and emotional kinds with people who don't have any weird hangups about him being a royal and kind of a demigod. In some ways he's very worldly - he's traveled all over Valisthea - but in others he's quite sheltered, so I want him to have lots of new experiences. He'll be fascinated to learn about modern technology and such, too.

Interested in: Joshua will be much more of a dom than he seems, once he gets that far in his sexual explorations; he's a virgin currently and hasn't even ever kissed anyone romantically or dated anyone, so he's got a lot to learn, and he'll enjoy every minute of learning it. Despite usually being the inexperienced one in any given encounter for a while, he'll be as assertive and daring in bed as he is in everything else, which opens the door for a lot of kinky experimentation!
