MOD NOTES
Just a few things from Chai to point out for the upcoming month! They are the usual general reminders to go over!

★ A reminder that players can add their own tags to the network and log communities! So, have at it! Tag all the things!

★ The flora & fauna submission mechanic is available! While originally new creatures/plants needed to have a sexy stamp for approval, you now just need to link your character claim (or check-in) comment if you want to start adding to it. Give me more horrifying beasties, please.

★ The calendar for January has been updated!

★ Due to the amount of drops, sweeps, etc. we have lowered the player cap back to 40. There are currently a few slots available though! Invite your friends to come on down to the sinulation for a good time!

Link to History: Link to the Wiki. There is a junction in Act I where the player character can either kill her to save the Emerald Grove, join her and raze the Grove, or (more recently) knock her out and save the Grove but acquire her later. In this scenario, the player character opted to raze the Grove with her, acquires her in Act II, and romances her.

PEACEKEEPER PROFILE

Personality: My good friend Minthara is the funniest person I know. She is also the meanest, most ungenerous, and most quick to solve problems with permanent maiming. Like most Drow, Minthara is a bloodthirsty woman, a quality that in her runs the gamut from ruthless to sadistic. It's no surprise that she's a power-hungry pragmatist. What tends to surprise is her philosophical streak, emotional intelligence, and deeply romantic nature. She's 250 years old, from a culture that raises women to be masters of politics, manipulation, emotional and personal intrigue, and of course, murder. That she has room in her heart for the only person who came back for her makes... a lot of sense in the context of how many betrayals and abandonments her life has borne. She has loved before, but never like this. For the player character (referred to by Minthara as her beloved), there is no feat too great, no prize too grand, no act of love too small or too large.

She is, however, also a Vengeance Paladin, and her Vengeance is currently directed towards the gods. First and foremost the Absolute, yes, but through being forsaken by Lolth and manipulated--mind, heart, and soul--all gods have earned her scorn.

The bonds she builds with the rest are small and slow. (Some... slower than others. Sorry, Gale.) Still, she is a Paladin. Her loyalty and service is not to be discounted. Her gradual fondness is expressed as much via tolerance as it is brutal honesty. She likes animals, at least. Not just spiders and mimics, even. She describes herself as having "something of a feline nature," and speaks fondly of past pets like Displacer beasts. She's also very fond of the dog, Scratch. If he dies, she's actually pretty upset. And if you lose him to a specific event, she is adamant on killing anyone necessary to get him back. With time, she is capable of finding any origin character not only admirable, but magnificent... provided they're the player character. For anyone else... well. She can be abrasive, and she is aware of it. Her confidence is no front. One gets the impression that if it weren't for the way Orin and the Absolute altered her feelings and motivations to serve them, she would know nothing of doubt at all. But between the cultural differences and her own uncompromising temperament, she tends to be a bit of a difficult person to spend time around. Her awareness of this prevents her from regarding the others as friends, and leads her to believe that they merely tolerate her. It may even be true.

Still, she does have a great (some might say... wicked?) sense of humour. Not everyone appreciates it. That's okay. But she's the only one who gives Approval points for sending her up to that clown.

Game Plan: Minthara will be... hostile... to the concept of what has happened to her, and outright declares it false. She is not amenable to gods, their plans, or their influences. She is EXTRA not amenable to things getting in her head or manipulating her thoughts or feelings. Because of this, however, she also refuses to completely abstain from sex, because that's just being controlled in a different way. Which is helpful. Especially because she will have a LOT of adjusting to do, what with all the modern, sci-fi, and otherwise no-magic characters and settings.
Interested in: Bloodplay, Dom/Sub mechanics, rampant lesbianism and associated misandry, probably a lot of xeno. Mommy issues are present. I am VERY interested in things getting in her head or manipulating her thoughts or feelings.

Anything else?: There was a brief flurry of drama about someone who jokingly put a pacifier sticker on a screenshot of Minthara and was accused of paedophilia for this (lmao) and this irritated me so much that I have combined it with her extremely canon mommy issues and now she has a Mommy kink. If the fandom continues to irk me I'm going to give her an age regression kink. You have been warned.
