Just a few things from Chai to point out for the upcoming month! They are the usual general reminders to go over!

★ The flora & fauna submission mechanic is available! While originally new creatures/plants needed to have a sexy stamp for approval, you now just need to link your character claim (or check-in) comment if you want to start adding to it. Give me more horrifying beasties, please.
★ The calendar for January has been updated!
★ Due to the amount of drops, sweeps, etc. we have lowered the player cap back to 40. There are currently a few slots available though! Invite your friends to come on down to the sinulation for a good time!

PEACEKEEPER PROFILE
Personality: Wrench is everything, everywhere, all the time.
He's friendly, for the most part. A total queerdo nerd. Loyal when you earn it and always willing to help someone up to their feet if they've been kicked down by The Man. Wrench is extremely charismatic, can often be excitable, flirty, and sometimes a little too chatty. He is a, how to say... Political Extremist. A Grey Hat hacktivist and an anti-hero through and through.
He believes in community, in working together for a cause, in equality and equity and he'll take huge risks to fight for it. He is very passionate about this (and robots, and sci-fi movies, and action flicks, and some documentaries). It's his antics regarding this that probably what ended up getting him killed, tbh. It's said that he pulls the goofy and trolling act in order to make people underestimate how dangerous he can be. He's methodical, violent, neurotic, chaotic, and vengeful. While Wrench's persona can be a bit exuberant and flamboyant at times, he knows how to get shit done and get down to business.
Speaking about his persona, his mask is more than something he "hides behind". His mask is freedom. His mask allows him to be all of himself; all of his weird, awkward, loud, rageful and impassioned, not really good at being a human sometimes self. It protects him from rejection and helps him navigate the world as vibrantly and violently as his heart desires. It grants him safety when near others, boosts his confidence, and conveniently keeps him out of any facial recognition programs. It is his lifeline. It is a huge part of who he is as a person. It is an extension of himself in the same way as a cane would be to the blind. He becomes almost completely non-functional without it. Withdrawn, nervous, fearfully angry, and quiet. There may also be some underlying self-loathing and body image issues. Very rarely does Wrench choose to unmask himself. When he does, its a sign of both trust and sincerity; a last ditch resort at relating to someone one on one. When its TAKEN from him, one should expect a heightened state of anxiety.

alsO, since he is who he is, he's likely to have Problems With Things so there's potential there for some mess. As for the whole adjusting to being dead thing. Well, eh. He'll be sad but, yanno, unsurprised. And while he's... a flavorful and violent person, he's actually really friendly so long as the person isn't a total fuckhat. He'll talk to pretty much anyone and he really super duper cares for the people, especially the more disenfranchised. p.s. hope y'all have a mask fetish cause guess what doesn't come off in the bedroom.

PEACEKEEPER PROFILE
Personality:
Noctis is nothing like what people expect out of a prince. He's casual, unkempt, avoidant, withdrawn, sarcastic, not much of a leader at his current canon point, and would much rather nap or go fishing or play games with his buddies than talk politics or wage war. But he's also compassionate, a people-pleaser, and always willing to help - sometimes to the point of being gullible. When trouble comes for him, his friends, or his people, he's capable of astonishing ferocity and even unchecked rage. He's always wanted a normal life free of royal obligations, not because he hates the idea of being royalty but because those obligations have robbed him of so much time with his beloved father. He's an awkward dork who nonetheless draws people to him, inspiring loyalty and fondness in his subjects and loved ones. He can be reckless and irresponsible, but never malicious. He lets his heart guide him rather than his head; he's the sort of person who, on his own, would crash and burn hard. Fortunately, he's not alone, and with the help of his three best friends, he's matured a lot since they first set out. By this point he's learned to stop taking things for granted, take responsibility and stick to his guns, and appreciate what he has while he has it. Learning to put his duty as royalty above his personal wants and emotional needs is a work in progress, but he's getting there. He's also trying to learn to accept that people will make sacrifices for his sake and no matter how shattered he is by that, he needs to put his own feelings aside and step up to ensure that those sacrifices won't be in vain.
Game Plan: Remember that whole thing about crashing and burning if he was alone? Time to explore what happens when Noctis is without his friends and existing support network, and has to figure out how to forge new connections and take care of himself. He's likely to get himself in trouble a lot in the beginning, which is probably how he'll start making friends. Hearing that he's dead and he failed to save the world will devastate him, but when he hears there's a chance they can fix that, he'll be determined to help make that happen.
Interested in: Noctis is a pillow princess, but easygoing and people-pleasing enough that if his partner wants him to do something, he'll usually do it. I'm hoping that over time he'll gain the confidence to be more proactive and top sometimes, maybe even dom occasionally. I absolutely want to play somnophilia with him, it's practically required. Also, one of his powers is turning ordinary beverages into potions and remedies and whatnot, which means he can probably turn them into aphrodisiacs, too.

Personality: Laios is a genuinely nice and cheerful sort of dude. Highly curious and with a thirst for knowledge if it aligns with his special interests. Actually get him started on his special interest, monsters, and he absolutely will not shut up. No really, he'll need to be told directly if it's not in the other persons interest. Laios has zero social skills, he can't read body language well and has zero tact with his interpersonal relationships. He's had what he thought was a close friendship turn out to be someone way too polite to tell him to get lost.
Game Plan: He's already died a few times in his canon and is a bit desensitized to it so while it will still be a surprise to hear that here, he'll be more curious of his new situation and environment. At least after he gets over his suspicion that this is all some sort of ploy from the demon. He's a friendly sort so I don't think he'll have problems getting along with others, but actually forming bonds are his weak spot. I'm curious how he overcomes that and if he can be true to himself and his actual preferences. Maybe he can make a peaceful existence surrounded by monsters.
Interested in: I play Laios as more or less ace, but I'm interested in exploring his special interests! Whether he actually gets some frick frack patty wack on or it's non-sexual. He loves everything about monsters! He fantasizes about turning into one! I want him to live his best monster fucking life.

Link to History: World info: In the year marked at 21xx, there are Handead, Zendead, and Alivers. Alivers are 50% of the population, and have been brainwashed to focus only on their work, listless and devoid of joy. The other 50% is Handead or Zendead; Handeads are called "truly living", though physically, they're "half-dead". There's an organization called Dead And Alive, or DAA, who works to undo the brainwashing through the production of music, as Influencer Handead can undo the brainwashing with their voices and turn them Handead through their bites. Zendead are basically listless zombies without the urge to eat human flesh.
Kakeru info: He's Rikyo Miyoshi's younger twin; not too much is known of his childhood, but he's been Rikyo's polar opposite since they were born. He has an interest in and passion for Kochi yosakoi, and one of his greatest ambitions is to show everyone how bright and fun and vibrant Kochi can be. At his current canon point, he's the Head of the Kochi branch of DAA, named Yona. He's taken a crazy bee sting for one Gara Ukai, which is quite the sacrifice to make. Raiga, a youth he's connected with, has told him he thinks yosaoi is kind of lame and that's the last thing they've talked about before Kakeru goes "missing" ...
PEACEKEEPER PROFILE
Personality: Human disaster. Charismatic, charming, affable, boisterous. He has a curious gravity about him and draws people in with that magnetism. He's cheerful and can find the silver lining in any situation. But he's also kind of messy and a little unreliable in some regards. A bit of a player.
Game Plan: He's going to do what he does best: roll with the punches. It'll all come as a shock, of course, and it might truly hit him later that he and everyone he loves is dead, but ... Well, what can be done?
Interested in: Shibari, pet play, gender play, chastity, impact play ... A bunch more probably.

Link to History: - The year is 21xx. Alivers populate 50% of Japan and South Korea (and maybe a few other countries). Alivers are brainwashed to feel muted emotions or no emotions at all, and focus on their work. They were mass-brainwashed by a dictator some time ago.
- Handead exist alongside them with Zendead as well. Handead are, "passion zombies" who feel emotions and physical sensations to a much higher degree than Alivers or regular humans.
- Influencer Handeads (born that way, like Genjiro) can undo the brainwashing with their voices and turn the unbrainwashed into Handead.
- Genjiro is a the Head (leader) of DAA's (DEAD AND ALIVE, an organization dedicated to increasing the number of Handead in Japan) Okinawa branch. Its name is SHINKA, and they perform music to undo the brainwashing of the Alivers.
- Somewhere along the line, Genjiro meets Kakeru Miyoshi, Gara Ukai, and Yuki Minano. The former of the three is a close... friend and the latter two are like their sons.
- After Gara gets kicked out of DAA on account of being such a danger to everyone around him, Genjiro resigns from DAA. He doesn't hear from Kakeru ever again, and won't hear from Gara or Yuki for another ten years.
- After ten years pass, Genjiro is approached by the two looking to reconnect and make music to shake up the world again. They form a group called Shura Jodo, and proceed to make waves as much as they an with their music and radical performances and views.
PEACEKEEPER PROFILE
Personality: Soft, gentle, old-fashioned. Lover of wabi-sabi. Easy-going and kind and thoughtful and considerate. Just a bit of a pushover.
Game Plan: Initial plans... Calm down, have some tea. Freak out a little over Kakeru and probably balk a whole lot. Vandal and I have vague plans.
Interested in: Most things. Namely... rope art and knives and needles and other forms of ornamentation and body art; discipline, pain. Pet play. Getting Gen to cuddle with someone probably. Little spoon, of course.
Anything else?: Vandal played this character for all of ten minutes but we're doing a little switcheroo in the interest of KakeGen.
