Just a few things from Chai to point out for the upcoming month! They are the usual general reminders to go over!
★ A reminder that players can add their own tags to the network and log communities! So, have at it! Tag all the things!
★ The flora & fauna submission mechanic is available! While originally new creatures/plants needed to have a sexy stamp for approval, you now just need to link your character claim (or check-in) comment if you want to start adding to it. Give me more horrifying beasties, please.
★ The calendar for January has been updated!
★ Due to the amount of drops, sweeps, etc. we have lowered the player cap back to 40. There are currently a few slots available though! Invite your friends to come on down to the sinulation for a good time!

PEACEKEEPER PROFILE
Personality: Did someone say parent issues? Because boy does this guy have them! Not only did he strive to understand why his father was so cold to him, but after finding out his beloved mother had meant to use him and never loved him was kind of a harsh blow. That said, Erich is a resilient creature, beyond all else. He is good at finding a bit of hope to cling to and taking it as far as he can.
He is the embodiment of hard work, determination and resolve. Even in the face of learning such horrible things, dealing with a prison full of dangerous monsters run amok, and his life seemingly falling apart around him, he found strength in a couple of friends.
While he is unimpressive in most other ways, he does not let his many shortcomings define him. He presses on, and still holds some level of self-respect, even in the grimmest of times. He is a gentle, mild soul otherwise, craving for all the standard things. Some friendship, guidance, and a kind word here and there. That said, he is absolutely willing to do whatever he must to make himself useful to his companions, and uplift them as well.
Game Plan: Having him explore the wider world, having been stuck in Pandaemunium most of his life, Erich didn't get to experience many of life's simpler pleasures. He will be quite taken with everything, and thrilled at the prospect of making new friends.
I also want him to develop his magic more and find freedom from his self doubt by working towards self betterment and having it actually pay off without the blocks that Athena caused him. He will likely use stamps to remove the barriers for himself, but still prefers to work for the rest.
He likely will stay close to Themis and Obsidian, but will tentatively look to form new, positive bonds and be as useful as he can to the community.
Interested in: I mean this man has built-in bondage. He is likely fairly vanilla so teaching him the wild world of kink will be fun!
Also interested in seeing further personal growth beyond his time as a warder. Continuing to develop his magic, facing his parental issues, and finding confidence in himself, any CR that supports that would be awesome but I am open to anything.

Lahabrea’s descent into madness was a slow decline that none of his former colleagues could’ve predicted. Once beloved by his peers in ancient Etheirys, the ascian known as Lahabrea became a shadow of his former self as the Sundering tore their world apart over the course of a millennium. Respected as the “Speaker of the Convocation”, it fell to Lahabrea to lead Etheirys into glory during its halcyon days. With the fate of the entire world resting upon his shoulders, Lahabrea was once a man to admire before his inevitable fall. He was a master at creation magicks and one of the chief paragons to craft some of the world’s most magnificent constructs in the form of mythic beasts. He is the sole creator behind famous creatures such as the Phoinix (No, that is not a typo!), Ifrit, and several other fire-aspected concepts.
It goes without saying that the man possessed a talent that was borderline artistic when it comes down to creating new life. Despite how whimsical his creations appeared, Lahabrea was always the type to temper his idealistic whims with tempered pragmatism. It’s understood that Lahabrea has a knack for words, especially since he was a renowned orator. He’s a studious fellow, someone who honestly spends more time with his books than with others.
Lahabrea is married to his profession, seeming to be something of a workaholic since he didn’t seem to have much of a personal life. Yet despite his many accolades and achievement, Lahabrea was a lonely and broken man. He’s quite dismissive towards the feelings and attitudes of others, even towards himself. Lahabrea keeps his emotions bottled within, hidden away from the views of others but not by choice. He lost half of his soul when trying to stop his dear wife from reaping havoc in Pandaemonium, a research facility hidden deep within the depths of Elipis. After separating the side of himself that deeply loved his wife, Lahabrea became hollow. He separated not only his love for Athena but also his emotions in the process. The man became like a walking corpse, cold and feeling. The reason why he would work so tirelessly in his efforts to best guide Etheirys is that he was devoid of anything else.
Or was he?
His emotional detachment may have extended to both his son and his subordinates, but Lahabrea wasn’t completely devoid of feelings. One of the reasons why he sundered his soul was in order to protect Erichthonios. Yes, this of course led to much friction between them but the deep fervent love he had for Athena would’ve led him to do some ghastly things on her behalf. Hence why Lahabrea chose to become unfeeling and cold. His love for his son was so great that he was willing to be hated by Erichthonios rather than tell the boy the truth about his mother and her nefarious experiment. Lahabrea lied and deceived everyone by omitting the truth. He chose to suffer in silence as his heart screamed for help. There was nothing the man could do other than perform his role as Speaker with utmost poise and confidence. He was a leader, after all, and leaders do not wear their emotions on their sleeves. While he remained resolute to safeguard their world, he already lost everything.
In a nutshell, Lahabrea is a deeply wounded old bastard who eventually falls off the deep end. He lost his wife, he lost his son and eventually lost everything else. While he’s somewhat aware of what horrors the future brings—for the time being, he’s as dutiful as ever to the plight of his Star. That doesn’t mean he isn’t a condescending, complicated asshole. No, that just means he won’t be trying to smite you anytime soon. Lahabrea recognizes that he isn’t particularly fond of the Warrior of Light or anyone willing to butt into his business. If he had it his way, he would’ve jailed the little bastard immediately after trespassing into his domain unannounced and unwanted. Nevertheless, Lahabrea is capable of showing gratitude…if he feels like it.
He’s quite stoic despite merging with his other self. He can be quite theatrical when he wants to be as demonstrated countless times during the ARR quest line (here’s looking at you Praetorium!) after he lost his everlasting mind. Regardless, the Lahabrea of the past was likened more to a stern university professor with marital issues rather than a comically evil villain. While he still possesses his sassy one-liners, he’s much more subdued about it.
Game Plan: First of all, Lahabrea will think everything the Peacekeeper is a lie until proven otherwise just on principle alone. While he’s quite aware of what the future may bring for his homeworld of Etheirys, he will still hold out hope. His main goal is to find some sort of way to save his world by any means necessary. If this means he might have to…participate in some of this depravity, then so be it. Lahabrea is a man of principle and duty, after all. He will not rest until he’s certain that his people will be saved.
Interested in: Is it okay to link his kinklist here? If not, I don't mind listing things.
Alternatively, I'm very interested in Lahabrea stepping of his alleged role as "Speaker" and becoming more of a person. I want to see what happens when he finally becomes more of himself and not the man he "has" to be. I'm also oddly looking forward to him actually behaving like a father for once. He may never get this chance to see Erichthonios again, so he better make this count.
